Junior Product Manager

Overview

This is a temporary 3-6 month contract position, with the potential to transition to a permanent position at the end of the contract.

We’re a fast-moving team in the ethics and compliance industry, building solutions that empower organizations to manage risk, streamline compliance, and foster a culture of integrity. Our product ecosystem spans case management, policy management, risk assessments, and more, and we’re looking for a motivated Junior Product Manager to help drive critical initiatives forward.

As a Junior Product Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of impactful features while gaining exposure to the full product lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with the Lead Product Manager to define, document, and refine requirements, ensuring our solutions meet client and market needs. We are looking to fill this role quickly, so candidates who are ready to jump in and contribute immediately will be prioritized. This is a temporary 3-6 month contract position, with the potential to transition to a permanent position at the end of the contract.

Responsibilities

  • Support the product lifecycle from ideation through launch, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Gather, document, and refine requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering and design to keep development on track and aligned with priorities.
  • Contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management in Azure DevOps.
  • Participate in UAT cycles to ensure product quality and readiness.
  • Document workflows, requirements, user guides, and release notes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate product updates, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Monitor adoption, usage, and feedback to help inform roadmap decisions.

Experience You'll Need to Succeed

  • 1–2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Experience working in SaaS, ethics, compliance, or risk management products.
  • Solid understanding of agile practices and product development lifecycles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with product and collaboration tools, ideally:
  • Azure DevOps (backlog & sprints)
  • Google Suite (documentation)
  • Figma / Visily (design collaboration)
  • Comfort with data analysis and using metrics to inform product decisions.
  • Curiosity about technology and a willingness to learn new tools quickly.

Flexible - Remote, Hybrid, or In-Person. Office is located in Charlotte, NC.

Salary Range

$48-55/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
