Manager, Sales

Overview

We're hiring a Manager, Sales to join our growing sales team within the ethics and compliance industry. This role is designed for a top-performing B2B SaaS sales professional with proven success selling and leading sales processes, with a preference for team-lead or prior management experience. To onboard into our sales process and ensure you have the context to lead other reps. you’ll begin as a full-cycle Account Executive, responsible for closing new business and meeting a quota over any rolling 3-month period with a mix of existing pipeline, marketing/SDR-generated, and self-generated sales. Once you hit that milestone, you’ll transition into a Sales Manager role with direct reports and leadership responsibilities. This is a performance-based opportunity to build trust, showcase your expertise, and grow into a leadership role by setting the standard for others to follow.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting and lead handoff to close
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets (initially as individual contributor, then owning combined team quotas)
  • Become a product and industry expert, able to consultatively sell our ethics & compliance solutions across company size and buying group personas
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and maintain detailed records in the CRM
  • Collaborate with Marketing Sales Development on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and ideal customer profiles
  • Provide customer insights and feedback to Product and Client Success to inform roadmap and retention strategies
  • Lead by example - model, train, and reinforce best practices in prospecting, demos, objection handling, and closing
  • Coach and develop Account Executives through coaching, role playing, call reviews, pipeline 1:1s, and regular performance feedback
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ramping of new sales reps to ensure delivery to quota within budget (CAC), close rate, and team stability
  • Monitor team performance metrics and proactively address gaps
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and ethical selling
  • Partner with senior leadership to refine sales process, compensation plans, and go-to-market strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of sales experience in SaaS sales (several month sales cycle, consultative sale), experience in ethics and compliance or similar field preferred
  • Leadership potential demonstrated through informal mentoring, team influence, or project ownership
  • Proven ability to prospect effectively, and lead teams to do the same, and achieve sales targets and quotas
  • Strong discovery, demo, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to tailor messaging to decision-makers across roles, products, and industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly coachable, growth-minded, and motivated by performance and impact
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management
  • Experience or familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Orum, PandaDoc, and Google Workspace
