The birth of ChatGPT has finally brought AI into the hands of every employee in the workplace. While that means a powerful new tool is now freely accessible, it has also opened the door for unregulated use-cases, unprecedented risks, and potential dangers no other workplace in history has had to confront. In this exciting new era of technology, we explore the role that ethics, compliance, and HR has in utilizing, safeguarding, and codifying this powerful new tool.

We explored:

  • What are the ethical issues around corporate use of ChatGPT generally?
  • What specific risks to compliance, or to your program, might ChatGPT cause?
  • How can compliance officers begin to retool your compliance program to enter the ChatGPT era?
