ON-DEMAND MASTERCLASS

Performing Risk Assessments

A thoughtful, thorough risk assessment is a compliance program’s bread and butter. But are you sure you’re buttering your bread the right way? During this ETHICSVERSE on-demand recording, our panel of experts explored everything that a risk assessment can be.

An effective, efficient risk assessment doesn’t just check the boxes, but caters to your organization’s evolving operations and business practices. Create a process that identifies all the risks, vulnerabilities, and existing issues within your organization, so you can be proactive, not reactive.

Questions explored:

  • What process should compliance officers use to generate a thoughtful, informative risk assessment?
  • How can you analyze business practices in the First Line to understand the risks that arise internally?
  • How should you monitor key risk indicators or external events like regulatory change?
  • How should your risk assessment change over time?
