People Operations Specialist
Overview
The People Operations Specialist will play a critical role on the People team. This role will focus on supporting the day-to-day operations of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, office management, and employee engagement. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where no two days look the same.
In this position, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers across multiple departments to support end-to-end recruiting efforts, help deliver a seamless candidate experience, and contribute to employee-focused initiatives that strengthen our culture and operations. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills across both Talent Acquisition and People Operations, gaining hands-on experience in a startup-style environment that values curiosity, adaptability, and teamwork.
Responsibilities

Recruiting:
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting support, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communication.
- Partner and collaborate with hiring managers to source entry-level and niche talent.
- Support employer branding efforts by posting on social channels, career sites, and university boards.
- Assist with candidate assessments, reference checks, and offer letter preparation.
- Deliver an excellent candidate experience through clear and timely communications
People Operations:
- Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, ensuring smooth transition and positive first impressions.
- Support HRIS data entry and maintenance to keep employee records accurate.
- Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, or processes.
- Assist with compliance-related documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to special projects in performance management, learning & development, and process improvements.
- Communicate with office vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Manage office vendor relationships, coordinate deliveries, and assist in resolving any issues or concerns related to office vendors.
- Maintain and order office supplies, ensuring inventory is well-stocked and organized.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification preferred, but not required.
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR, or a related administrative role (experience working with SaaS or startups a plus).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to pivot quickly and balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with ATS or HRIS a plus.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A genuine interest in building a career in Talent Acquisition or People Operations.

Salary Range
Base salary $45,000-55,000
